Our Story

Daniel worked in one of Prague’s leading restaurants, which was ranked as one of the best restaurants in the Czech Republic every year. The desire to open his own restaurant, his difficult situation and having to care for his two sons, Matěj and Kuba, as a single father, brought him to Statenice, where housing directly above the pub allows him to always be close to his sons. Despite the very modest circumstances, Statenka has become very popular. Thanks to a series of basically random events, today, after extensive renovation work, Statenka restaurant boasts a new appearance.
